1. JOY Ministries (JM) – is the umbrella organization
Purpose/Mission: JOY Ministries exists to expand the Kingdom of God by “making disciples” among all peoples of the world in obedience to Jesus’ Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) according to the pattern He gave in Acts 1:8.
2. JOY Travel USA (JTUSA) – an arm of JOY Ministries specifically to reach the Basque Country
Purpose/Mission: …to create discipling relationships that develop individuals, churches and other organizations and engage the people of the 7 Basque provinces of Spain and France.
3. JOY Teen– a program of JOY Ministries to introduce the Gospel and build relationships with Basque teenagers and their families.
Purpose/Mission: …to provide a premier English immersion and cultural exchange program that enriches the people of the 7 Basque provinces of Spain and France.
a. “program” – is a culturally relevant term the Basque people identify with as valuable. The program opens opportunities to build relationships which otherwise would not be available.
b. “enriches” – English immersion and exposure to Christian sub-culture benefits their children and culture. The experience enriches their lives through hearing and seeing the Gospel through Christian love and action.
